S1C11: Ground Left Unsullied
To my loyal subjects (who love and adore me),
Atlas is surrounded. We lost two territories over the course of two weeks. Our city has never been more threatened in its history.
The Oasis Network started their attack by killing the remaining patriots who were fighting to keep Jeritopia unsullied by the unfeeling androids. My troops’ brave deaths were nothing but passing “thoughts” to them. [NOTE FOR LATER: FIND OUT NAMES OF THE DEAD ONES AND PUT THEM ON A PLAQUE OR SOMETHING]
While Jeritopia fell, our even braver troops pushed into the Roots to beat back the Cultivation Society scourge. ONE ENTIRE BATTALION GETS WIPED OUT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY! I HOPE THEY ENJOY BEING THE ENEMIES’ FERTILISER! THAT’S WHAT SUCH A POOR EFFORT DESERVES!
The androids amassed at the border at the Reeds. That’s when I knew there’d be much more of a fight than my generals anticipated. When two of our battalions fell, two more replaced them. We were on the ropes; We were near conceding. I knew we wouldn’t survive….
PSYCHE BITCH! GET BOMBED, LOSERS!
However, despite my tactical mastery, the Androids were able to get the best of our more incompetent troops. Two swarms of mechanical menaces breached the borders of the Reeds and moved into Atlas. This is where we must make our final stand against the Oasis Network’s brazen foolishness. There is currently a small battalion between the Reeds and Overwatch managing to contest the area. They must hold their position until we can wipe out the Android scourge.
In terms of our options, while protecting Atlas is key, we have two options:
Stand and defend?
OR push and attack?
If we stand and defend, it would mean we can’t risk overextending ourselves and creating a hole our enemies could use to punch further into Atlas.
If we push and attack, we might be able to regain some territory and even capture another sector. The big risk, though, is letting our enemies divide and conquer our forces.
The choice is yours. Just make sure we don’t lose my city.
