S1C10: Growing Bark

Greetings from the Sea of Many

Despite our divine’s health, Dionea has seemingly blessed us with tenacity. While she is displeased with our lack of progress, it seems that she has managed to rest during this battle. Her current threats mainly seemed to have been concerned with each other rather than her, and when The Governed were threatening her fellow devotees, we stood like redwood and chipped away at her foes. As she was able to rest, she has been able to provide us with more strength. When she is strong, so are we.

The battle begun with us spreading Dionea’s influence in River’s End, taking down a rebel battalion. Governed troops decided to pester us like the termites they are and take down more of us with their mortars. Meanwhile, we were surrounded by Jerit’s men in The Roots, taking some of our own. More termites weeded their way towards us and continue to surround our devotees, even killing some of us along the way.

Yet, through Dionea’s Grace, we still stood tall. Our followers continued to push The Underworld Collective back to the borders of The Circuits, and we still managed to defend The Roots from The Governed. As Dionea blesses more heathens in our territories, the more devotees we can send up north of Atlaunder to spread her seed.

We have two objectives to consider, but where do we start?:

  • Move upward towards River’s End so we can spread Dionea’s seeds into the Water Supply, and her grace envelops the whole city.

  • Move west and claim The Reeds, leading to a rapid decline of Jerit’s forces. There is nothing graceful about unnatural, supposed ‘orders’ like fascism.

Fret not, blessed. When bushfires claim forests, the tree’s bark grows stronger.

Dionea blesses us all.
