S1C3: Welcome to the Party!
To my loyal subjects (who love and adore me),
Oh this is the most fun I’ve had all year!
The rush of burning down an entire village is insane. I haven’t felt it in years!
To start off with, I was in a bit of a mood because we weren’t gaining any territory in the Reeds due to the Cultivation Society being downright annoying as usual (like come on, just let us have the north)! However, I realised you all decided to go with the scorched earth so that cheered me up!
I commanded my officers to have fun and let creativity fill their hearts. All of the village was turned to ash, they tested different types of fuel on the huts (apparently flayed skin burns faster than meat, who knew!) and methods of killing that honestly perplex me. I heard one of my officers “blood eagled” a family, I have no idea what that means but I’ll give her points for creativity.
As much as I want to indulge in the killing, I had a genius idea that I had to put into motion.
Since we can’t gain any more territory in the Reeds, we draw a horizontal border where our holdings ends, making a new territory!
This new territory would give us the access to the Crates and Overwatch, just not the Roots. This would also open up endless possibilities for expansion.
So far, I have had a few ideas for it, I’ll give you the dot points:
An arms depot
An espionage headquarters (similar to Overwatch)
A theme park dedicated to me
A water treatment facility
How about this? For your devotion to the Governed, you’ll get to name it to!
In other areas, the Underworld Collective seem to be having some trouble with the androids. They tried invading the Smoke but got kicked right back to the Circuits. Then, the bolt-heads manage to break down the exterior wall of Valhalla and are rapidly approaching the town centre. Don’t you just love to see it?
There are a couple of things we can do while we’re building the new territory so I’d appreciate you choosing for me (I’m too drunk at the moment).
We could increase defences in the new territory, allowing it to repel an attack from the Smoke, the Reeds, or Overwatch. However, this would mean diverting resources from the other options so there’s always a risk there.
We could invade Overwatch which would be a massive shot in the arm for our espionage division but we could run the risk of stretching ourselves too thin. Could be fun though.
We could do something well out of the box like attacking the Smoke or the Circuits but we would be unlikely to take the entire territory but I know we could shake up their respective factions and really mess with their heads.
I’m excited to see what you come up with, so please pick wisely, pumpkins.
